2014 JLAC Technical Information Seminar will be held on Friday, September 19 at Shinagawa Community Center Hall (CURIAN) from 13:00 to 17:00.
This year's theme is "Accreditation: Delivering confidence in the provision of energy" aligned with the theme of World Accreditation Day 2014 as previously announced by IAF and ILAC.

World Accreditation Day 2014
June 9th 2014 will mark World Accreditation Day, a global initiative jointly established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation-related activities. A short promotional film titled World Accreditation Day Animation 2014 about how accreditation delivers confidence in everyday life is uploaded on the IAF and ILAC YouTube channel. Subtitles to the voice-over narration of the film are available in 25 different languages. Please click the "caption" button on the right corner of the YouTube screen to access subtitles.

IAJapan (International Accreditation Japan) is a government accreditation body that was established following a comprehensive review of accreditation programs for testing and calibration laboratories operated at NITE, with the perception as the duty of the government accreditation body to respond to requests from industries, academies, and the government administrations.

Accreditation programs currently operated in IAJapan include JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System), JNLA (Japan National Laboratory Accreditation System), ASNITE (Accreditation System of NITE) and MLAP (Specified Measurement Laboratory Accreditation Program).

IAJapan aims at gOne-Stop-Testingh through joining and maintaining of Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) of ILAC/APLAC for mutual acceptance of test/calibration results or characteristic values of Reference Materials, ultimately contribution to free trade around the world.

IAJapan Quality Policy

1. IAJapan complies with a management system in accordance with the requirement of international standards and international organizations, and provides high quality accreditation services satisfying customers with impartiality, fairness and transparency.

2. IAJapan comprehends accreditation needs of society and policy while pursuing valuable accreditation services at a higher level.

3. IAJapan responds to the globalization of market and actively promotes the use of accreditation system.
