The aim of this standard
ISO/IEC 17025:2005(JIS Q17025:2005) stipulates general
requirements for testing and calibration laboratories to be accredited
as competent ones performing specific testing/calibration services.
This standard consists of management system requirements and technical
requirements. Especially, technical requirements (except those for personnel)
are very unique to the standard, not required by ISO 9000 series.
